The foundation stone of Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Bhagta Bhai Ka was laid by S. Parkash Singh ji Badal, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab on 11 April, 2013 with marathon efforts put in by S. Sikander Singh Maluka, Hon’ble Minister of Rural Development & Panchayats, Punjab. The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar Sahib, under the visionary leadership of Jathedar Avtar Singh Ji and with untiring efforts and passion of  Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha, Director of Education, has established  this Institution with high and noble aspirations. SGPC has opened hundreds of educational institutions to spread the divine message of Sikhism along with high quality education to the youth of Punjab and nearby states. This college will cater to the educational needs of this area and also provide leadership in the field of Sikh ethics combined with cultural and literary activities. The college will provide hi-fi facilities to the students for higher education as well as competitive exams like Civil Services and Banking Services etc.

                        The college has high quality infrastructure to meet the best standards in terms of building, landscaping, furniture and curriculum related infrastructure like labs/library/computers. Apart from this physical investment, college has highly trained and experienced teaching staff to provide high quality instruction to the students.

                        The college has a Grievance Redressed Cell, Women Cell, Vigilance Cell, Equal Opportunity Cell and Students Counselling Centre also for the benefit of the students. The entire focus of education is on inculcation of Sikh Ethos and to create world class professionals who can compete successfully in the international arena.
